March 2009 Archives

michelin.jpgThe Japan edition of the Michelin Green Guide travel books debuted in France.

It is the first time Michelin, renowned worldwide for its star-rating assessments of hotels and restaurants, has published a comprehensive guide to Japan's tourist attractions.

Produced by 12 French and Japanese writers, the book judges tourist must-sees through the eyes of a Frenchman.

We, Nozawa onsen, were awarded TWO STARS in it.

It is actually not the first time we got it. When they published Michelin Voyager Pratique Japon in 2007 (simpler guide to Japan's attractions focusing on practical aspects), we had also got TWO STARS.

We feel very thankful to our ancestors who has created this village "Nozawa Onsen", and we want to keep this village be worth to visit from all over the world....
